The Music

Music built to move you — from noise, through signal, all the way to resonance.

The Resonance Cycle

a sound journey

The Resonance Cycle began as a framework.

Then a book.

Then reflections.

Then conversations.

Now it can be experienced through sound.

The Resonance Cycle: A Sound Journey is an original ambient album designed to guide listeners through each stage of the cycle—from Noise to Resonance.

Created as a companion to the framework, the album transforms ideas into an experience.

Metronome

eight tempos. one journey.

Some journeys don't need words.

They need a pulse.

Eight tempos. One climb.

The body knows the way.

Metronome: Eight Tempos. One Journey. is an instrumental album built on a single idea — let the tempo be the story.

Eight tracks of Moroccan-inspired violin, oud, and percussion climb from grounded stillness at 80 BPM to full arrival at 164.

Ancient instrumentation. Modern intention. No words required.

Take Up Space

permission to be

She started where most people start. Lost in the noise.

Not sure which voice was hers. Then she found it — and everything changed.

Take Up Space is a nine-track melodic progressive house album — one voice moving from lost in the noise to claiming her own space.

Warm, intimate, and built to be felt.

Not louder. Just truer.

The Build

lock in focus flow

You know that state.

When the noise drops and the work takes over.

When everything else falls away.

The Build was made for that.

The Build is twelve tracks and one deep-work session — start to finish.

Downtempo instrumental with a steady, organic pulse, built for founders and creators who do their best work when the world goes quiet.

Press play. Ship.

Lights OFF | Lights ON

The journey from invisible to seen

What happens when you stop hiding?

Not because the fear is gone.

Because the courage arrived anyway.

Lights OFF | Lights ON is eight tracks and one decision — the journey from invisible to fully seen.

Cinematic electronica evolving into progressive trance, with dual vocals tracing the arc from hidden to visible.

Male voice leads the hidden state.

Female voice leads the emergence.

Both arrive together.

This is what it sounds like when someone stops hiding.

The Current

A JOURNEY FROM SOURCE TO SEA

Not every current needs a reason.
Some just move.

A spring becomes a stream.
A stream becomes a river.
The river finds the sea.

The Current is an organic electronic journey following a river from its first emergence as a spring to its arrival at the open sea.

Each composition reflects a stage of movement—gathering, converging, accelerating, widening, and ultimately finding stillness within something larger.

Blending warm analog textures, acoustic instrumentation, and spacious electronic production, The Current is an invitation to move with life rather than against it.

The Current At 3am

still on the surface

The Current at 3AM is a deep melodic house journey through the hour when the world goes quiet.

Each track reflects a stage of that hour — stillness settling in, movement finding its pulse, a pull toward something honest at the record's center, release, and arrival in open water as the sky begins to lighten.

Blending liquid analog synths, rolling bass, and atmospheric pads with a wordless voice that surfaces only at the record's deepest point, The Current at 3AM is an invitation to sit inside the quiet instead of running from it.

Metronome II

eight movements. one breath.

Some things don't need explaining.
They need room to breathe.
Eight movements. One breath.
The silence carries as much as the sound.

Metronome II: Eight Movements. One Breath. is an instrumental album built inside the Japanese honkyoku tradition — where restraint says more than melody ever could.

Eight tracks of shakuhachi, koto, and shamisen move through jo-ha-kyū, the slow gather-and-release at the heart of centuries-old Japanese music, with taiko held back until the one moment it's earned.

Ancient tradition. Modern stillness. No words required.

Duende

eight truths. one fire.

Every fire has a source.

His was a guitar he learned to play, then had to let go.

Eight tracks about the sound that survives anyway.

Eight truths. One fire.

Duende is an instrumental flamenco journey through eight facets of finally hearing your own voice. Virtuosic Spanish guitar, wordless cante, and the raw soul the Spanish call duende, the fire that doesn't go out, even when the instrument does.

Eight truths. One fire.

Alone WIth The City Lights

NOT LOST IN THEM ANYMORE.

Every city has a quiet hour.

Hers was the one where the streets emptied out and there was nowhere left to perform.

Eight tracks about learning the difference between alone and lonely.

Alone With The City Lights is a dreamy progressive house journey through loneliness, reflection, and the connection that finally breaks the quiet open. Violin-led melodies, a voice that starts the record completely alone, and the moment someone else's voice finds hers and shows her the light was there the whole time.

Not lost in them anymore.

The Late Hour

the night has a sound

Time passing without being told the time.

The warmth of arrival, giving way to something quieter, more your own. Until you're the last one moving.

Then you're not moving at all.

The Late Hour is ten tracks and one night: the arc of arrival, peak groove, and the walk home once everyone else is gone. Deep house built on Rhodes electric piano and tenor saxophone, sung close and unhurried across three intimate vocal moments inside a mostly instrumental record.

Arrival leads the first half. Solitude leads the second. Midnight is where they meet. This is what a good night sounds like once it turns private.

Gravity

SAME LOOP. EIGHT DEPTHS.

You feel it before you understand it.

Something underneath everything else, holding on quietly. Not asking you to notice. Just waiting until you do.

Then you're not fighting it anymore.

Gravity is eight tracks and one pull, not a story that resolves. Dark neoclassical instrumental, built on a single cello voice, moving from first contact at the surface down to the deepest well and back to where you began. Brooding, not grieving. Heavy, not cold.

The Pull opens the record. The Well is its deepest point. Return doesn't end the loop, it closes it. Eight depths, one field, the same pull the whole way through.

Composer. Producer. Writer.

Meet Raymond

Sound has been Raymond Sjolseth's first language since childhood — headphones on, tuned out from the world, tuned into everything else.

He started DJing at 12. Spent years deep in car audio — building show cars, competing in sound competitions, obsessing over what sound does to a room, a body, a moment.

That led to time around LA studios, doing sound engineering and production from the inside.

Then three decades building companies across real estate, technology, and data.

The headphones never came off.

The Resonance Cycle™ began with a simple observation: most people are not lost. They have simply lost their signal.

The music was always the plan.
